Alphas is my home away from home. Everyone is so welcoming and willing to help. There is a variety of equipment to meet... anyone's needs. I came for the lifting but stayed for the boxing. Great 24 hour gym in Highland. My boyfriend and I were here visiting his family and used the gym all week during our... trip. We were given the door code for easy 24 hour access. Great, casual environment and excellent equipment. I am an NPC figure competitor preparing for my next bodybuilding show; Alphas has everything I needed for a great workout. Tons of dumbbells, multiple squat racks, and multiple cable machines, even some niche machines you don’t see commonly. The gym was never overly crowded and we never had a lack of space. I forgot my water bottle one day, and luckily they had cold water available for $1 in the fridge. We will definitely come back on future visits.read more

My cousin and I were visiting from out of town and Travis was kind enough to allow us to use his facility. I’ve got to... say, I was blown away by the selection and quality of the equipment in this gym. This pace is a one stop shop for multiple disciplines of fitness: quality barbells, effective machines, kettlebells, platforms, heavy bags, a legit boxing ring….you name it, they got it. I legitimately wish I lived in the area just so I could to have access to a gym like this on a regular basis. Thanks you opening your doors to us Travis! 10/10 would recommendread more

I joined this gym about three weeks ago. When I read the reviews it didn’t seem real to have such an inviting... atmosphere the “ too good to be true “ mentality instantly kicked in. After the first boxing class I took I instantly knew how much I had underestimated the meaning of “inviting and friendly atmosphere” it is beyond different than anything I’ve ever experienced. I know that this where I will be setting so many goals and achieving new levels of personal growth. If anyone is looking for the perfect gym that invites challenge and confidence, I highly recommend Alphas! Each member is treated like a family, Travis Tilton ( the owner) is beyond supportively and encouraging. If you don’t show up he will check on you and hold you accountable not only to your fitness goals but showing up for yourself. I’ve truly found my tribe! By the way they have boxing classes that run all day every day of the week (Sundays just in the morning)!read more

I can’t say enough nice things about this gym. My husband and I joined with no recommendations and without knowing any... members. We have been there for a little bit over a month and we already feel like family. The owner of the gym has worked very hard to create a judgement-free environment and it really shows. There are a variety of different types of people with different back grounds in this gym and as long as you are there to have fun and better yourself and others, you will also fit right into the “tribe”. The more you put into this gym, the more you will get from it... and then some. Words don’t do this gym justice, check it out for yourself! Everyone is welcome!read more

I really like the boxing classes! You’re able to go at your own pace and do what you can. Travis (the owner) and... others there are very encouraging and willing to help you every step of the way. They even have boxing classes for kiddos, too! He held a free class (to the public, not just members to his gym)a week ago or so about how to use machine and lift weights properly to get the most benefit from your workout. Travis genuinely cares about his members and wants to see them succeed at their goals. He’s willing to do whatever it takes to help you get there. You just have to put in the work. Travis is one the most personable gym owners, I have ever met. He made me feel so welcomed and put me at ease. Right... after leaving class today he messaged me and asked how I felt. This was my response, “I saw you talking to a couple of other people! I didn’t want to interrupt. But I loved it! I’m not going to lie I almost broke down, cried, and left in the beginning because I was thinking too much into it and thought I didn’t belong there in your gym. That I was wasting your time and I had no business boxing. But after you came over and talked to me and told me to “let go and ease up” and new skills take time to learn. I instantly felt better and more comfortable. As class went on I didn’t necessarily feel confident with what I was doing but being there boosted my self confidence a little. It felt so good, to feel good. I haven’t felt that way in a long time. What an incredible gym to workout at! I was back in Highland for Thanksgiving and had the pleasure of working out here.... As a competitive strength athlete I’m always looking for places to train at back home. And this being the only place with a deadlift platform made it a no brained when picking a location. The 24hr access made it extremely convenient to get my AM and PM workouts during the busy holiday events. The equipment was all high end and very well maintained. And the ability to control the music via Bluetooth or Alexa was awesome! I look forward to training here during my next visit home.read more

I want to first say that I love this gym! Secondly I am going to tell you why. It has always been hard for me to enjoy... working out. I have never been the type of person that can do it on my own. Since joining I finally enjoy working out and meeting all of these amazing people! Everyone makes you feel so welcomed. The workouts are different all the time so you never feel like your getting caught in the same mundane routine. By the end of the workout you feel like you really put in the work. I’m feeling stronger each and everyday. It all feels so much like a family and that’s what I love most! They all push you to keep going. I came to this gym to change up my routine. Different environment helps at times. It is a nice gym. The staff are... friendly. They do have a good selection of dumbbells to use. It has to be be the best place in the area to lift. I’ve been to a few other places in highland and Troy and they were either not equipped enough or to franchisey. ( not a real word but you get the point.) I recommend this gym to everyone in our area. Keep getting better!read more

Never thought myself doing boxing. I have done many workouts programs and also run, but I always felt like I had to... force myself doing those. I do and teach martial arts in STL. Because it is far from home to train my cardio and strength, I was looking for something that is not boring with repeating same routine close to home, Flexible access because I work nights. I was nervous when I walked in for the first boxing class. Members were so welcoming and helping me with getting ready. Trainer was so helpful for this beginner yet helped me to push through with 100% effort. I have done four class now and I can’t wait to go next one. Members are very friendly and motivate me to come. I can’t believe I didn’t think about joining sooner. It is so much fun and 1 hour workout feel like 3 minutes! Thanks Alpha Gym!read more
